Display PPI and Viewing-Distance Calculator
Calculate display dimensions, pixel density, pixel pitch, field of view, pixels per degree, and practical viewing-distance ranges for gaming monitors and TVs.

Calculate the display you will actually see
Enter the physical diagonal, resolution, and eye-to-screen distance. The tool calculates image dimensions, PPI, pixel pitch, field of view, and pixels per degree without uploading anything.

Calculating…
What the numbers mean
- PPI describes physical pixel density; it does not include viewing distance.
- PPD combines resolution and field of view, making distance part of the calculation.
- Planning ranges use horizontal field-of-view bands, not a universal comfort rule.
- Visual acuity, panel subpixel layout, scaling, anti-aliasing, posture, and preference can change the practical result.
- The calculator assumes a flat screen viewed straight on and is not medical guidance.
